How to use Gateway 3DS with Ultra firmware on 3DS(XL) V4.1 to v4.5?

Gateway 3DS is the game flascard that can support playing 3ds games on console NEW3DS/3DSLL, OLD3DS/3DSLL/3DSXL, 2DS with firmware v4.1-9.2, in this article we tested and figured out how to use Gateway 3DS with firmware on 3DS(XL) V4.1-4.5, in another article we will update how to use Gateway 3DS with Ultra firmware on 3DS(XL) V4.6 to v9.2 soon.

Preparation for testing How to use Gateway 3DS with Ultra firmware on 3DS(XL) V4.1 to v4.5:

---3DS Console: 3DS or 3DS XL game console

---Gateway 3ds game flashcard, including the red card and blue card.

---1× micro sd card for blue card of gateway, 2G to 32G any capacity is ok, blue card is for setting up gateway mode which enable the operation system for playing 3ds games.

---1× micro sd card for red card of gateway, no less than 8G, red card is for .3ds games ROM.

---3DS Console SD Card.

---SD Card reader and USB micro sd card reader.

Step 1: Setting up the blue card in order entering gateway mode for playing 3ds games

Download the latest firmware gateway ultra version here: http://www.gateway-3ds.com/downloads/

You will get below gateway 3ds files:

Open the folder "Blue Card (R4i)" and copy all its below folder contents into the root of your micro sd card of blue card:

Insert blue card into 3ds console and boot your 3ds console, press the "Deep Labyrinth" icon on screen in order entering the main menu.

Select the Micro-SD Card on the top screen and press "A" to confirm, and then select the "GATEWAY INSTALLER" to creat the circumstance for playing 3ds games:

Select the region of your 3ds console, when did it, press A to exit:

Step 2: Setup the red card of gateway 3ds.
Download .3ds games ROM to your PC, here below you can find some website for downloading games:

Insert micro sd card of red card into USB card readler and connect to your PC, format it to be FAT 32, copy/write/flash .3ds games ROM to root of micro sd card of the red card.

Pull out blue card from 3ds console,and insert red card into 3ds console.

Step 3: Setup the SD Card of 3DS Console.
Take out SD Card from your 3DS Console slot, connect SD Card to your PC by USB card reader. Open the folder "GW_Ultra_3.X (Public Beta)" and copy its below content "Launcher.dat" into the root of SD Card of your 3ds console:

Insert SD Card back your 3ds console, start up 3ds console menu, enter settings >other settings >profile >Nintendo DS Profile, 

and then press button A to boot the gateway mode:

Now back to home menu, reboot your 3ds console, and find the icon of .3ds games ROM in the menu, start enjoy gaming!
